The William G. McGowan Charitable Fund Awards Grants totaling $1,031,672
The William G. McGowan Charitable Fund strives to advance the human condition and help individuals fulfill their potential, working side-by-side with community-based nonprofit organizations that share our vision.
To advance this mission, The Fund recently awarded over $1 million in grants. The Board of Directors carefully screened grant applicants and then resourced key nonprofit organizations whose creative vision is backed by a sustainable operational model that provides practical tools for implementation.
In these challenging times, The Fund encourages local providers to explore new ways to work cooperatively, to rethink the status-quo whenever and wherever it fails to meet community needs and to focus on advancement and problem solving in terms of macro-level community need and micro-level program delivery.
We encourage fresh ideas and synergies—not for the sake of change itself—but to transform the lessons of the past into the solutions of the future.
